The Central Knights basketball team (Providence, RI), was overwhelmed 75-39 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI)

The Bulldogs now possess a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woonsocket for a Division 1 battle on Thursday, February 15. Westerly will confront a Villa Novans team coming off a 72-61 league loss to Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Villa Novans record now stands at 5-17.

The Knights (7-14) will now prepare for their battle against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Skippers come into the Division 1 battle with a 10-13 record. In their last battle, North Kingstown was overwhelmed by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 41-39, in a non-league battle.
