Colonia Patriots (Colonia, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ), 70-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Colonia upgrades its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Patriots host Fort Lee (Fort Lee, NJ) to play the Bridgemen in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Bridgemen come into the bout with a record of 10-14. Fort Lee lost 47-30 in their recent non-league bout against Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ)

Next up, the Tigers play the Oratory Prep Rams (Summit, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 15. South Plainfield will attempt to upgrade on its 18-7 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 11-12 record after their 74-45 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, NJ).
