The Cromwell Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Haddam-Killingworth Cougars to 40 in the Panthers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westbrook for a Shoreline contest on Thursday, February 15. Cromwell will meet a Knights team coming off a 57-42 league loss to Portland (Portland, CT). The Knights record now stands at 2-15.

The Cougars (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Metropolitan Learning Center (Bloomfield, CT). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 0-10 record.
