The Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) basketball felled the host Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX), 63-48 in Wednesday's league test.
The Spartans (20-15) will now prepare for their test against Westside (Houston, TX). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 19-9 record. In their last test, Westside thwarted Houston Math Science & Tech (Houston, TX), 85-25, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 22-13 record.
