The Fort Benton Longhorns (Fort Benton, MT) basketball nipped the host North Star Knights (Rudyard, MT), 62-55 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Longhorns (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Box Elder (Box Elder, MT). The Bears go into the C District 9 test with a 16-1 record. In their last test, Box Elder got by Big Sandy (Big Sandy, MT), 77-62, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 11-10 record. They play next when they host Fort Benton for a test on Thursday, February 15. North Star will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 62-55 non-league win over North Star (Rudyard, MT). The Longhorns record now stands at 7-11.
