The Hononegah Indians basketball team (Rockton, IL), was nudged 52-48 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL)

The J-Hawks now possess a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moline for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 15. Jefferson will confront a Maroons team coming off a 60-45 league win over East Moline United (East Moline, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 24-6.

The Indians (11-16) will now prepare for their battle against Huntley (Huntley, IL). The Red Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 20-10 record. In their last battle, Huntley edged McHenry (McHenry, IL), 53-47, in a league battle.
