Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), 47-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Huntingtown upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Northern (Owings, MD) to clash with the Patriots in a Southern Maryland bout on Friday, February 16. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Northern won 55-50 in their recent league bout against McDonough (Pomfret, MD)
