Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), 62-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Loyola Blakefield upgrades its record to 19-11 on the season. The Dons host Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD) to play the Cardinals in a MIAA A - Red bout on Friday, February 16. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 16-17. Calvert Hall won 62-49 in their recent league bout against Pallotti (Laurel, MD)

Next up, the Eagles play the Gilman Greyhounds (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. McDonogh will attempt to upgrade on its 14-11 season record.
