In Wednesday's league outing, the Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ) basketball squad beat the visiting Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars (Montclair, NJ), by a count of 48-35.

The Minutemen (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ). The Minutemen go into the non-league outing with a 17-6 record.

The Cougars now hold a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dwight-Englewood for a non-league outing on Friday, February 23. Montclair Kimberley Academy will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 86-39 non-league loss to Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-11.
