The Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) basketball knocked off the host Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), 62-53 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Golden Eagles (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions go into the non-league test with a 13-3 record.
The Matadors now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to La Cueva for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Sandia will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 60-46 non-league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM). The Bears record now stands at 13-5.
