Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY) and the visiting Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY), saw AuSable Valley's basketball squad knock off Moriah by a count of 47-32.

With the victory, AuSable Valley upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Patriots host Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY) to play the Bobcats in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I challenge on Friday, February 16. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Northern Adirondack won 59-41 in their recent league challenge against Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY)

Next up, the Vikings play the Schroon Lake Wildcats (Schroon Lake, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Moriah will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 47-32 league loss to Chazy (Chazy, NY).
