Wayne Badgers (Bicknell, UT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Escalante Moquis (Escalante, UT), 71-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wayne upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Badgers travel to Piute (Junction, UT) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Piute won 40-23 in their recent non-league bout against Bryce Valley (Tropic, UT)

Next up, the Moquis clash with the Bryce Valley Mustangs (Tropic, UT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Escalante will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 40-23 non-league loss to Piute (Junction, UT).
