Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Polars (North St. Paul, MN), 76-35 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mahtomedi upgrades its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Zephyrs travel to Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-11. Two Rivers lost 58-48 in their recent non-league bout against Hill-Murray (Maplewood, MN)

Next up, the Polars play the Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) in a AAA Section 4 bout, on Friday, February 16. North will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record. The Pioneers come into the bout with a 13-10 record after their 58-48 non-league win over Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN).
