St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans (Edison, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Monroe Township Falcons (Monroe Township, NJ), 57-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Thomas Aquinas upgrades its record to 20-7 on the season. The Trojans host Colonia (Colonia, NJ) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 19-7. Colonia won 56-40 in their recent non-league bout against Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ)

Next up, the Falcons play the Freehold Township Patriots (Freehold, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 16. Monroe Township will attempt to upgrade on its 16-9 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 53-40 non-league loss to Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ).
