North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC), 43-37 in a league bout.

With the win, North Johnston upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Princeton (Princeton, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A Neuse bout on Friday, February 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Princeton lost 58-29 in their recent league bout against Beddingfield (Wilson, NC)

Next up, the Gators play the Beddingfield Bruins (Wilson, NC) in a 2A Neuse bout, on Friday, February 16. Spring Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 16-5 record after their 58-29 league win over Princeton (Princeton, NC).
