Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ) and the visiting Pennsville Memorial Eagles (Pennsville, NJ), saw Penns Grove's basketball squad hold off Pennsville Memorial by a tally of 41-38.
With the victory, Penns Grove improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Red Devils travel to Glassboro (Glassboro, NJ) to confront the Bulldogs in a Tri-County - Diamond challenge on Friday, February 16. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 15-7. Glassboro won 48-34 in their recent non-league challenge against Pitman (Pitman, NJ)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Pitman Panthers (Pitman, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 15. Pennsville Memorial will attempt to improve on its 11-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 48-34 non-league loss to Glassboro (Glassboro, NJ).
