In Wednesday's non-league test, the host Leavitt Hornets ice hockey team scored a tight 8-2 win over the Kennebunk Rams.

The Hornets (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME). The Capers enter the non-league test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Cape Elizabeth was trounced by Cheverus (Portland, ME), 7-0, in a league test.

Next up, the Rams encounter the Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME) in a Class B South test, on Saturday, February 17. Kennebunk will attempt to advance on its 4-11 season record. The Rams enter the test with a 7-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Greely (Cumberland Center, ME).
