The South Effingham Mustangs crushed the host Islands Sharks baseball team by a count of 15-3 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Savannah Christian for a bout on Monday, February 19. South Effingham will face a Raiders team coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Effingham County (Springfield, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.
Next, the Sharks face the Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA) in a bout, on Wednesday, February 21. Islands will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 10-6 non-league win over Camden County (Kingsland, GA).
