The South Columbus Stallions basketball team (Tabor City, NC), was overwhelmed 65-40 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC)

The Titans now possess a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pender for a battle on Friday, February 16. Heide Trask will confront a Patriots team coming off a 62-29 non-league win over West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 7-9.

The Stallions (0-10) will now prepare for their battle against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Wolfpack come into the non-league battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Whiteville trounced East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC), 55-20, in a non-league battle.
