The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Carencro Bears (Lafayette, LA) and the visiting Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA), saw Carencro's baseball team gain a win over Episcopal by a tally of 8-1.
The Bears (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Eunice (Eunice, LA). The Bobcats enter the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Eunice held off Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA), 11-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Knights face the Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, February 15. Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA).
