Alabama High School Baseball - Houston County holds off Pike County

February 14, 2025: Columbia, AL 36319

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Houston County Lions (Columbia, AL) and the visiting Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL), saw Houston County's baseball team beat Pike County by a margin of 10-6.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Malone (Malone, FL). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Highland Home Flying Squadron (Highland Home, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Pike County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Flying Squadron go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Flomaton (Flomaton, AL).
