The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR) and the visiting Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, OR), observed Sunset's basketball team overcome Beaverton by a margin of 60-45.

The Apollos (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountainside (Beaverton, OR). The Mavericks come into the 6A Metro challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Mountainside dropped by Jesuit (Portland, OR), 67-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Beavers battle the Westview Wildcats (Portland, OR) in a 6A Metro challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Beaverton will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record.
