The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hilldale Hornets (Muskogee, OK) and the visiting Beggs Demons (Beggs, OK), observed Hilldale's basketball team overwhelm Beggs by a margin of 64-31.

The Hornets (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Miami (Miami, OK). The Wardogs come into the Verdigris Valley challenge with a 9-14 record. In their last challenge, Miami was trounced by Grove (Grove, OK), 45-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Demons battle the Okmulgee Bulldogs (Okmulgee, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Beggs will attempt to better on its 3-18 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 54-50 league loss to Henryetta (Henryetta, OK).
