The Belleville East Lancers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting O'Fallon Panthers to 47 in the Lancers league triumph on Friday.

The Lancers now have a 19-9 record. They play next when they travel to Belleville West for a Southwestern game on Tuesday, February 18. Belleville East will confront a Maroons team coming off a 71-52 league loss to Alton (Alton, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 13-14.

With the loss, O'Fallon falls to 7-21 on the campaign. The Panthers host East St. Louis (East St. Louis, IL) to confront the Flyers in a Southwestern game on Tuesday, February 18. The Flyers go into the game with a record of 13-16. East St. Louis lost 74-51 in their recent league game against Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL)
