The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Union Redhawks (Tulsa, OK) and the visiting Bixby Spartans (Bixby, OK), observed Union's basketball team overwhelm Bixby by a score of 78-49.
The Redhawks (20-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Owasso (Owasso, OK). The Rams come into the 6A District 3 challenge with a 20-4 record. In their last challenge, Owasso trounced Ponca City (Ponca City, OK), 88-10, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Muskogee Roughers (Muskogee, OK) in a 6A District 3 challenge, on Saturday, February 15. Bixby will attempt to improve on its 9-19 season record. The Roughers come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 65-40 league loss to Union (Tulsa, OK).
