The Hayfield Vikings basketball squad (Hayfield, MN), was crushed 73-43 in Friday's league battle with the host Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN)
With the victory, Blooming Prairie advances its record to 17-6 on the year. The Awesome Blossoms travel to Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN) to meet the Falcons in a A Section 1 battle on Saturday, February 15. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 4-17.
The Vikings now own a 7-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southland for a A Section 1 battle on Thursday, February 20. Hayfield will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 78-58 league win over Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 26-0.
