In Friday's league contest, the host Bridge Creek Bobcats basketball team scored a close 67-64 triumph over the Purcell Dragons.
The Bobcats (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Washington, OK). The Warriors go into the Canadian Valley contest with a 19-6 record. In their last contest, Washington nipped Newcastle (Newcastle, OK), 65-58, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Lindsay Leopards (Lindsay, OK) in a Canadian Valley contest, on Monday, February 17. Purcell will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Leopards go into the contest with a 16-8 record after their 52-51 non-league win over Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK).
