The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA) and the host Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA), observed Waynesboro's basketball team overwhelm Buffalo Gap by a margin of 56-23.

The Little Giants (4-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians come into the Shenandoah challenge with a 12-9 record. In their last challenge, Fort Defiance was trounced by Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA), 61-48, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bison battle the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) in a Shenandoah challenge, on Monday, February 17. Buffalo Gap will attempt to better on its 5-13 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 10-12 record after their 67-59 league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA).
