In Friday's league contest, the host Carrollton Hawks basketball team scored a close 68-63 triumph over the Calhoun Warriors.
The Hawks (15-12) will now prepare for their contest against Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL). The Minutemen go into the non-league contest with a 11-17 record. In their last contest, Bunker Hill nipped Pawnee (Pawnee, IL), 58-43, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors confront the Pittsfield Saukees (Pittsfield, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Calhoun will attempt to advance on its 19-8 season record.
