In Friday's league contest, the host Fruitport Trojans basketball team scored a good 55-47 win over the Calvin Christian Squires.
The Trojans (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kelloggsville (Wyoming, MI). The Rockets come into the Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Kelloggsville defeated Godwin Heights (Wyoming, MI), 55-51, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Squires battle the Comstock Park Panthers (Comstock Park, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Calvin Christian will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 2-18 record after their 42-41 league loss to NorthPointe Christian (Grand Rapids, MI).
