The Middletown Knights (Middletown, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD), 74-49 in Friday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 14-8 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Spring for a CMC bout on Saturday, February 15. Middletown will play a Blazers team coming off a 55-37 non-league win over Faith Christian Academy (Martinsburg, WV). The Blazers record now stands at 3-18.

With the loss, Catoctin falls to 1-23 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Saint James (Hagerstown, MD) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 7-18. Saint James lost 58-45 in their recent league bout against Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC)
