In Friday's league contest, the visiting Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers basketball team scored a good 67-51 triumph over the Cedar Creek Cougars.
The Tigers (15-18) will now prepare for their contest against Bastrop (Bastrop, LA). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Bastrop was toppled by Richwood (Monroe, LA), 70-62, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars confront the Castor Tigers (Castor, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Cedar Creek will attempt to better on its 15-10 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 21-12 record after their 67-64 league loss to Doyline (Doyline, LA).
