The Deming Wildcats defeated the visiting Chaparral Lobos basketball squad by a final score of 46-36 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) in a 4A District 3 outing, on Tuesday, February 18. Deming will attempt to upgrade on its 3-20 season record. The Fighting Colts come into the outing with a 17-6 record after their 67-47 league win over Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM).
The Lobos (8-16) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Desert Warriors come into the 4A District 3 outing with a 8-15 record. In their last outing, Santa Teresa went down by Silver (Silver City, NM), 67-47, in a league outing.
