In Friday's league contest, the host Roland Rangers basketball team scored a big 72-45 triumph over the Checotah Wildcats.

The Rangers (18-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Sequoyah smashed Wagoner (Wagoner, OK), 79-71, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Spiro Bulldogs (Spiro, OK) in a NOAA contest, on Monday, February 17. Checotah will attempt to better on its 2-20 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 9-9 record after their 69-54 non-league win over Westville (Westville, OK).
