The Chester Yellowjackets basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Sparta Bulldogs to 43 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now have a 15-14 record. They play next when they host Wesclin for a Cahokia - Illinois game on Tuesday, February 18. Chester will confront a Warriors team coming off a 63-48 non-league win over Gibault Catholic (Waterloo, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 17-11.
