The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Wellington Crusaders (Wellington, KS) and the visiting Collegiate Spartans (Wichita, KS), observed Wellington's basketball team overcome Collegiate by a margin of 56-39.

The Crusaders (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Andale (Andale, KS). The Indians come into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail IV challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Andale defeated Rose Hill (Rose Hill, KS), 56-21, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the El Dorado Wildcats (El Dorado, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail IV challenge, on Monday, February 17. Collegiate will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 55-42 league win over Clearwater (Clearwater, KS).
