In Friday's non-league contest, the host Wausa Vikings basketball team scored a big 78-54 win over the Crofton Warriors.
The Vikings (20-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NE). The Bees come into the non-league contest with a 10-13 record. In their last contest, Bloomfield smashed Homer (Homer, NE), 63-29, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Boone Central Cardinals (Albion, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 21. Crofton will attempt to better on its 3-18 season record. The Cardinals come into the contest with a 13-9 record after their 64-52 non-league loss to Northwest (Grand Island, NE).
