The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Crosby Bulldogs (Waterbury, CT) and the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders (Waterbury, CT), observed Crosby's basketball team knock off Holy Cross by a score of 71-60.

The Bulldogs (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 12-8 record. In their last challenge, Kolbe-Cathedral dropped by Bunnell (Stratford, CT), 82-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Waterbury Career Academy Spartans (Waterbury, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley 1 challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Holy Cross will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 65-54 league win over Torrington (Torrington, CT).
