In Friday's league contest, the host West St. Mary Wolfpack basketball team scored a big 67-22 triumph over the Delcambre Panthers.
The Wolfpack (14-12) will now prepare for their contest against Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA). The Panthers go into the 2A District 7 challenge with a 21-17 record. In their last challenge, Catholic - N.I. was routed by Loreauville (Loreauville, LA), 57-53, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Houma Christian Warriors (Houma, LA) in a 2A District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Delcambre will attempt to improve on its 1-23 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 11-12 record after their 76-38 league loss to Franklin (Franklin, LA).
