Delaware High School Basketball - Delmar overwhelms Sussex Academy

The Delmar Wildcats basketball team scored 65 points and limited the host Sussex Academy Seahawks to 35 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now have a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Seaford for a Henlopen - Southern game on Tuesday, February 18. Delmar will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 94-89 non-league win over Newark Charter School (Newark, DE). The Bluejays record now stands at 15-3.
With the loss, Sussex Academy falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Indian River (Dagsboro, DE) to confront the Indians in a Henlopen - Southern game on Saturday, February 15. The Indians go into the game with a record of 1-18.
