Edison Eagles (Tulsa, OK) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Tahlequah Tigers (Tahlequah, OK), 53-51 in a league match.
With the victory, Edison advances its record to 15-11 on the year.
The Tigers now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McAlester for a 5A District 4 match on Saturday, February 15. Tahlequah will meet a Buffaloes squad coming off a 64-49 league loss to Memorial (Tulsa, OK). The Buffaloes record now stands at 10-12.
