The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) and the host Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), observed Prospect's basketball team overcome Elk Grove by a margin of 56-38.

The Knights (13-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 13-14 record. In their last challenge, Conant dropped by Palatine (Palatine, IL), 66-52, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Grenadiers battle the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Elk Grove will attempt to better on its 3-26 season record. The Fillies/Broncos come into the challenge with a 17-7 record after their 54-50 league win over Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL).
