The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, MA) and the visiting Sharon Eagles (Sharon, MA), observed Franklin's basketball team overcome Sharon by a score of 64-51.

The Panthers (20-0) will now prepare for their challenge against New Bedford (New Bedford, MA). The Whalers come into the non-league challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, New Bedford defeated Durfee (Fall River, MA), 71-58, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Dedham Marauders (Dedham, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 17. Sharon will attempt to improve on its 3-15 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 53-52 league loss to Westwood (Westwood, MA).
