In Friday's league contest, the host Geneva Vikings basketball team scored a good 50-41 win over the St. Charles East Fighting Saints.

The Vikings (23-4) will now prepare for their contest against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Sabres come into the non-league contest with a 7-22 record. In their last contest, Streamwood defeated Aurora East (Aurora, IL), 72-71, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Fighting Saints battle the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 15. St. Charles East will attempt to better on its 14-13 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 13-15 record after their 65-29 league loss to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL).
