In Friday's league contest, the visiting Swampscott Big Blue basketball team scored a big 69-48 triumph over the Gloucester Fishermen.

The Big Blue (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against New Mission (Boston, MA). The Titans go into the non-league contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, New Mission was trounced by Barnstable (Hyannis, MA), 52-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Fishermen confront the Marblehead Magicians (Marblehead, MA) in a non-league contest, on Sunday, February 16. Gloucester will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record.
