The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) and the visiting J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA), observed Godwin's basketball team edge J.R. Tucker by a score of 55-50.

The Eagles (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Panthers come into the Colonial challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Hermitage edged Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA), 72-66, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA) in a Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. J.R. Tucker will attempt to improve on its 18-3 season record. The Justices come into the challenge with a 17-2 record after their 68-59 non-league win over Bull City Prep National (Charlotte, NC).
