West Virginia High School Basketball - Hoover routs Nicholas County

February 14, 2025: Summersville, WV 26651

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Hoover Huskies basketball team scored a big 88-51 triumph over the Nicholas County Grizzlies.

The Huskies (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Wildcats go into the Cardinal contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Nitro smashed St. Albans (St. Albans, WV), 75-55, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Roane County Raiders (Spencer, WV) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Nicholas County will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 5-11 record after their 67-53 league win over Clay County (Clay, WV).
