In Friday's league contest, the visiting Monroe Trojans basketball team scored a big 77-24 triumph over the Huron River Rats.

The Trojans (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Railsplitters go into the non-league contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Lincoln was trounced by Dexter (Dexter, MI), 41-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the River Rats confront the Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) in a Southeastern - Red contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Huron will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 7-13 record after their 47-40 league win over Bedford (Temperance, MI).
