In Friday's non-league contest, the host Indian Springs Thunderbirds basketball team scored a good 48-39 triumph over the Tonopah Muckers.

The Thunderbirds (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Mountain (Las Vegas, NV). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Spring Mountain topped Indian Springs (Indian Springs, NV), 58-28, in a league contest.
