Spectators at Friday's league bout between the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) and the host Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA), saw King's Fork's basketball team beat Nansemond River by a tally of 73-58.

The Bulldogs now possess a 19-2 record. They play next when they host Norcom for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. King's Fork will play a Greyhounds team coming off a 58-46 league loss to Maury (Norfolk, VA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-15.

With the loss, Nansemond River falls to 15-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Grizzlies in a Southeastern bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Grassfield lost 80-44 in their recent league bout against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)
